You'll need:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Pinkie’s Farm banana milk
1 banana
2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1-2 tablespoons cashew butter
Nuts and seeds of your choice
Procedure:
- Place oats and water in a pot. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally until the oats have absorbed all of the water.
- Add the banana milk to the pot and stir. Cook, stirring, until the milk is absorbed and your desired texture is reached. You can add more banana milk if you like it thinner. Set aside.
- Place brown sugar on a plate. Slice the banana and coat slices with the brown sugar. Line another plate lightly with oil.
- Bring a non-stick skillet to medium heat and add the butter. When the butter is hot add the sugar-coated banana slices and fry on each side until caramelized. Transfer caramelized banana slices to the oiled plate.
- Place warm oatmeal in a bowl. Top with cashew butter, caramelized banana, and your favorite nuts and/or seeds. Enjoy!
Optional: you can also add OSI granola to your bowl!
